Emperor penguins spend their entire lives on Antarctica, and in ice and in its waters. They survive,breeding, raising young penguins, and eating by relying on the other parent . The reason why they have fat is to keep them warm because it is so cold where they live that they body alone can handled it. There is a thick layer of blubber under the Emperor's skin to protect their stomach.

They live in antarctica. Emperor penguins never leave antarctica because that is there home because while some birds do return, others travel great distances and find themselves a place where they can sit on the ice and moult. Some Emperor birds crowd in a space to protect their eggs.
